Super Delta Betta Male

Super Delta Betta

The super delta betta – the word “delta” is Latin for the letter “D” and stands for the shape of the tail – is also called the super veil tail betta. This betta variation is one grade above standard show betta and one grade below halfmoon bettas. However the body of the super delta betta tends to grow a bit larger than the half moon bettas and the fish has great color and very long fins.

The caudal fin (tail fin) extends between 120-160 degrees but does not quite come together with the dorsal fin and anal fin.

There are many names for the particular betta color patterns but most are variations of blue and/or red colors. Fish pictured here are representative only. If you are looking for a specific coloration, add a note to the order or simply allow us to choose one of our favorites for you!
